This Privacy Policy describes how WNBS INC. ("Kreels", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the Kreels mobile app and website at kreels.tv (collectively, the "Service").
By using Kreels, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: email address, username, display name, password (stored hashed), profile photo, bio, language preference, and creator role selections.
- Sign-in via third parties: if you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook, we receive the basic profile information those providers share (email, name, profile picture).
- Content you upload: videos, thumbnails, comments, captions, club posts, AI prompts, livestream recordings, and direct messages.
- Payments: when you purchase a subscription, coins, AI credits, or unlock content, we collect transaction metadata (amount, timestamp, product). Payment card details are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Verification: if you apply for professional verification or creator monetization, we may request government ID, tax forms, or business documents.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and a randomly generated device identifier.
- Usage data: watch history, watch progress, likes, follows, search queries, screens viewed, and feature interactions.
- Network information: IP address (used to determine approximate region for content licensing and fraud prevention) and connection type.
- Push notification tokens: if you enable push notifications, we store the token issued by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Crash and performance data: via Sentry, we collect anonymized crash reports and performance metrics to fix bugs.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
If you link a third-party service (OAuth providers, payment processors), we receive the data those services share with us under your authorization.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service: deliver feeds, recommendations, search results, livestreams, and creator tools.
- Personalize content: recommend videos, series, creators, and clubs based on your activity and preferences.
- Process transactions: handle subscriptions, in-app purchases, creator payouts, and refunds.
- Communicate with you: send transactional emails, push notifications, and important account updates. Marketing communications are opt-in.
- Trust and safety: moderate content, detect fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and respond to legal requests.
- Improve the Service: understand which features are used, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws, including tax, accounting, and consumer-protection obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

Each processor handles data only for the purposes we instruct and under contractual data-protection terms.

- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Kreels, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required by law.
- With your explicit consent.
4. Public Content
Videos, comments, profile information, and other content you choose to publish are visible to other users and may appear in public feeds, search engines, or shared links. Do not post anything you want to keep private.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded content remains until you delete it or your account. Transaction records are retained for at least 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations. Crash logs are retained for up to 90 days. After account deletion, residual backups may persist for up to 60 days before being purged.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction: review and edit your profile in app settings.
- Deletion: request account deletion via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing [email protected]. We will fulfill the request within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Data portability (GDPR/CCPA): you may request a machine-readable export of your data.
- Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe links are in every marketing email; toggle marketing notifications in app settings.
- Do Not Sell or Share (CCPA): we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- EU/UK rights: right to object, restrict, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Children's Privacy
Kreels is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected].
8. International Data Transfers
Kreels is operated globally. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including Singapore, the United States, and the European Union. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms where required.
9. Security
We protect data with industry-standard measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage of credentials (bcrypt for passwords), iOS Keychain / Android Keystore for authentication tokens, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to [email protected].
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
